Rhine Bird is a small, independent studio building apps for iPhone and iPad. We care about the details other people skip: privacy by default, interfaces that stay out of your way, and AI used as a tool rather than a gimmick.
Rhine Bird is a small studio, and we like it that way. Small means every screen gets looked at by someone who cares about it. It means we can say no to features that exist only to fill a changelog, and yes to the ones that make an ordinary Tuesday slightly better.
We build for iPhone and iPad specifically, not for “mobile” in the abstract. Native frameworks, system conventions, widgets that feel like they belong on your home screen. When Apple ships something new, we want our apps to feel at home in it from day one.
Privacy isn’t a settings page for us; it’s an architecture decision. Wherever we can, there is no account to create and no server of ours to trust. Your data lives on your device and in your own iCloud, and it stays there.
And AI? We think it’s the most interesting tool to arrive in a decade, and we use it the way you would use any good tool: where it removes friction, never where it only adds a sparkle icon. Our mission hasn’t changed since the first line of code: build apps that solve real problems and make life a little easier.

No accounts where we can avoid them, no third-party trackers, and no server of ours sitting between you and your data. Privacy is decided in the architecture, not in a toggle.
Every feature has to earn its place on the screen. If something needs a tutorial, we treat that as a design bug and go back to the drawing board.
We reach for AI where it quietly removes work from your day, and leave it out where it would only add noise. You should feel the benefit, not the buzzword.
